Privacy policy
Effective 15 July 2026
Ahtires helps you rediscover and restyle the clothes you already own. That works best when you trust us with photos of your wardrobe, so this policy explains plainly what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
The short version
- Your closet is private by default. Nobody sees your pieces or looks unless you choose to share them.
- We collect only what the app needs to work, and we use it only to run the app.
- We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, any time.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and a password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and we never see them.
- Photos you add. Photos of your clothing, your fitting room photo, and any style inspiration images you save. These are stored in private storage that only your account can access.
- Details our AI reads from your photos. When you add a piece, we generate tags such as category, colour and style so the app can suggest outfits. Try on images are generated from your fitting photo and your pieces.
- Location, only if you allow it. Approximate coordinates and your timezone, used to fetch local weather so outfit suggestions match the day. You can decline and the app still works.
- A push token, only if you allow it. Used to send your one daily look notification. Turn it off any time in Settings.
- Purchase records. If you buy a credit pack, Apple processes the payment. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase so we can add your credits. We never see your card details.
- Usage inside the app. A log of credit spends and basic records the app needs, like which looks you saved.
How your photos are processed
To tag your pieces and render try on images, your photos are processed by the AI services we run the app on. They process photos to provide these features and are not permitted to use your photos for anything else. We do not use your photos to train AI models.
Services we rely on
- Supabase stores your account, data and photos.
- Vercel hosts our servers.
- AI providers process photos you add, to tag pieces and render try ons.
- Open Meteo receives approximate coordinates to return the weather. No account identifiers are sent.
- RevenueCat and Apple handle in app purchases.
- Expo delivers push notifications.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never show your closet, photos or looks to anyone unless you explicitly share them.
- We never use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Keeping it safe
Photos live in private storage buckets and are served through short lived signed links. All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to what is needed to run the service.
Deleting your data
Open Settings, choose Manage account, then Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, photos, pieces, looks, try ons and personalisation. It cannot be undone. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hi@ah.tires and we will sort it out. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act and, where it applies, the GDPR.
Children
Ahtires is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
Questions? Write to us at hi@ah.tires. We read everything.
